ClickDimensions allows linking emails, web visits, page views and form capture records to be linked to CRM campaign records. This provides useful information when trying to track interest, traffic /conversion to specific web pages and landing pages or micro-sites.
Being able to link marketing to specific pages, or forms that are posted on the web and to Dynamics CRM records can be useful. A good example would be tracking new product launches. If you create a landing page for the product, you can track all visits to the page and what marketing technique was used to refer the visitor there, i.e. email, marketing campaign etc.
This is achieved by placing the CRM campaign code within the page. All visit, page views and form posts are captured and can be viewed within the CRM campaign record.
